Personality: In canon, the thing that can be said that drives Tsunami the most would be the care and concern she has for her friends. She is willing to go into great danger and risk her life to help and protect them. Alongside this is a bull-headed stubbornness to never let herself be beaten and to never give up the fight, even in the face of great difficulty.

Tsunami can generally be boiled down to a few rather obvious traits once you get to know her (or even just at the first impression). First off, she tends to be bossy and authoritative, especially with people she thinks need her help or her protection. it's not really that she thinks others can't handle themselves so much as that when something needs to be done, it needs to be done now, so she's just the dragon to tell them what to do. Her bossiness can grate on even her closest friends, but it comes from a place of genuine concern and the desire to help or protect. She tells you what to do because she cares, really. On top of her natural rather bossy nature, she's SeaWing royalty which might add a bit to the expectation that she should be in charge or at the very least have her opinion heard. She's also not afraid of letting her voice be heard and is the first to speak up when she thinks something needs to be done or to disagree with a course of action.

Tsunami also tends to be impulsive. If something has to be done, do it! Whether it's jumping a yawning dragon she thinks is about to attack her friends or threatening to drag a bunch of prisoners she's tied to off a ledge (and nearly choking herself out in the process) because she needs to protect her dopey brother-figure, she tends to shoot first and ask questions later. This is compounded by her extreme bravery. Tsunami is almost always ready to fight when it comes to protecting her friends and family and isn't afraid of getting her talons dirty if it comes down to it. At the same time, though, after the rather traumatic revelation that she had killed her own father in Queen Scarlet's arena, she has attempted to take a less combative approach to her problems. While she isn't afraid to fight, she is reluctant to actually kill or seriously harm others who might be able to be dealt with in a less permanent and violent manner.

Tsunami is also extremely protective. She is the second largest of her little group of friends and probably the most combative. She's unafraid of throwing herself into danger or risking her life to protect her friends. She was willing to drag other dragons with her at the arena to stop Clay from being injured or killed.

Despite her great love for her friends and protective nature, Tsunami can be grating to deal with. She has loud, firm opinions and isn't afraid to state them or to argue with someone she thinks is wrong and doesn't always examine her own biases. Her SandWing friend, Sunny, has a positive, upbeat attitude and always tries to stay positive. Because of this, Tsunami tended to see her as not very bright or even dim, assuming that Sunny didn't notice when things happened or that her friend just wasn't able to see when they were in bad situations. Before her trip to the Sea Kingdom, Tsunami also tended to try and put herself inc harge, bossing the other dragonets around and sometimes teasing with a bit more mean-spiritedness than may have been necessary. After their visit to the Sea Kingdom, she's done her best to dial this back and includes others in her decision making, though she still tends to try and take the lead or order others around when she thinks she knows best.
