Personality: Tsunami can generally be boiled down to a few rather obvious traits once you get to know her (or even just at the first impression). First off, she tends to be bossy and authoritative, especially with people she thinks need her help or her protection. it's not really that she thinks others can't handle themselves so much as that when something needs to be done, it needs to be done now, so she's just the dragon to tell them what to do. Her bossiness can grate on even her closest friends, but it comes from a place of genuine concern and the desire to help or protect. She tells you what to do because she cares, really. On top of her natural rather bossy nature, she's SeaWing royalty which might add a bit to the expectation that she should be in charge or at the very least have her opinion heard.

Tsunami also tends to be impulsive. If something has to be done, do it! Whether it's jumping a yawning dragon she thinks is about to attack her friends or threatening to drag a bunch of prisoners she's tied to off a ledge (and nearly choking herself out in the process) because she needs to protect her dopey brother-figure, she tends to shoot first and ask questions later. This is compounded by her extreme bravery. Tsunami is almost always ready to fight when it comes to protecting her friends and family and isn't afraid of getting her talons dirty if it comes down to it. At the same time, though, after the rather traumatic revelation that she had killed her own father in Queen Scarlet's arena, she has attempted to take a less combative approach to her problems. While she isn't afraid to fight, she is reluctant to actually kill or seriously others who might be able to be dealt with in a less permanent and violent manner.

Despite her great love for her friends and protective nature, Tsunami can be grating to deal with. She has loud, firm opinions and isn't afraid to state them or to argue with someone she thinks is wrong and doesn't always examine her own biases since until Sunny's return in Brightest Night saw tended to see her friend as always happy and even a bit dim on account of Sunny's constant upbeat and positive outlook--one of the downsides of jumping to conclusions.

Canon Powers:
*Is a dragon-sized dragon (probably between 7-8 feet at the shoulder)
*Sharp teeth and talons
*Can breathe underwater
*Can fly (has wings)

Game powers: Super-dragon strength and super-dragon toughness.

Abilities: A skilled fighter even for a youngster, she's able to hold her own and scrap with dragons larger than her. Naturally bossy and considers herself a leader.

Setting: I expect Tsunami to be a bit incredulous at first. On her world, as far as she knows, humans (called "scavengers" by dragons) are animals on the level of a fox, cat, or dog--intelligent enough for what they are and cute, but not actually 'people.' It will take some getting used to for her to settle into the whole thing and she's likely to be snappy and prone to arguing at first. Fortunately, she's kinda used to the whole saving the world thing, even if she'll likely be reluctant to really help at first--she has stuff to do back home, after all!

SAMPLES

Prose Sample: TDM thread!

Network Sample: Okay, okay. So, uh, I'm supposed to record a message to myself? IN the future? This doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but whatever, I guess. So, first off, hi future Tsunami! You're probably pretty great and saved some people and been a fighting a bunch and all that--which is cool! I mean, I know you probably wish you were home. I definitely do. But I'm making the best of things, right? Saving one world was a lot of work, I know, and now doing that for a BUNCH of worlds is kinda overwhelming, but even if they're weird little scavengers, I uh...

Well, you'll manage. We always manage, right? It'll be okay! The Academy definitely needs out help, but these people apparently need it more, so there's not really a lot to be done about it. You'll figure it out though right? Take care of yourself.
