Timeline of Important Events in Canon History:
The War of SandWing Succession begins, dragging all the dragon kingdoms into an ongoing war over who will rule the SandWing tribe. The NightWings put out a prophecy claiming that five young dragons (or dragonets) will end the war.
Tsunami's egg stolen from the Royal Hatchery by Webs/The Talons of Peace in order to have a SeaWing for the Dragonets of Destiny prophecy.
Tsunami hatches in the cave in which she will spend her early life with her friends and fellow Dragonets of Destiny Glory, Starflight, Clay, and Sunny.
Tsunami and her friends escape from the cave only to be captured by Queen Scarlet of the SkyWings.
Tsunami is forced to fight in Scarlet's arena where she unknowingly kills her father.
After escaping Scarlet, she and her friends travel to the Kingdom of the Sea. She is reunited with her mother and discovers that she is a princess of the sea kingdom. Also meets her younger sister, Anemone.
Tsunami thwarts a curse laid by her older sister Orca, who was an animus dragon (had magical ability) and enchanted a statue in the royal hatchery to smash any egg that contained a female heir to the throne.
The Summer Palace of the SeaWings is attacked and Tsunami flees with her friends
Tsunami arrives in the Rain Forest Kingdom with her friends, looking for help from the RainWings.
RainWings are lazy layabouts.
Glory becomes queen of the RainWings, Tsunami begins helping to train them to fight the NightWings, who have been kidnapping RainWings for study.
The RainWings and the Dragonets of Destiny invade the NightWing island and liberate the RainWings. Volcano erupts and everyone escapes to the Rain Forest Kingdom.
Tsunami and her friends meet the three contenders to the throne on the Brightest Night and chose a new queen. The war ends,
Tsunami and her friends begin to work on founding the Jade Mountain Academy to promote understanding and peace between the dragons of Pyrrhia.
Personality:
In canon, the thing that can be said that drives Tsunami the most would be the care and concern she has for her friends. She is willing to go into great danger and risk her life to help and protect them. Alongside this is a bull-headed stubbornness to never let herself be beaten and to never give up the fight, even in the face of great difficulty.
Tsunami can generally be boiled down to a few rather obvious traits once you get to know her (or even just at the first impression). First off, she tends to be bossy and authoritative, especially with people she thinks need her help or her protection. it's not really that she thinks others can't handle themselves so much as that when something needs to be done, it needs to be done now, so she's just the dragon to tell them what to do. Her bossiness can grate on even her closest friends, but it comes from a place of genuine concern and the desire to help or protect. She tells you what to do because she cares, really. On top of her natural rather bossy nature, she's SeaWing royalty which might add a bit to the expectation that she should be in charge or at the very least have her opinion heard. She's also not afraid of letting her voice be heard and is the first to speak up when she thinks something needs to be done or to disagree with a course of action.
Tsunami also tends to be impulsive. If something has to be done, do it! Whether it's jumping a yawning dragon she thinks is about to attack her friends or threatening to drag a bunch of prisoners she's tied to off a ledge (and nearly choking herself out in the process) because she needs to protect her dopey brother-figure, she tends to shoot first and ask questions later. This is compounded by her extreme bravery. Tsunami is almost always ready to fight when it comes to protecting her friends and family and isn't afraid of getting her talons dirty if it comes down to it. At the same time, though, after the rather traumatic revelation that she had killed her own father in Queen Scarlet's arena, she has attempted to take a less combative approach to her problems. While she isn't afraid to fight, she is reluctant to actually kill or seriously harm others who might be able to be dealt with in a less permanent and violent manner.
Tsunami is also extremely protective. She is the second largest of her little group of friends and probably the most combative. She's unafraid of throwing herself into danger or risking her life to protect her friends. She was willing to drag other dragons with her at the arena to stop Clay from being injured or killed.
Despite her great love for her friends and protective nature, Tsunami can be grating to deal with. She has loud, firm opinions and isn't afraid to state them or to argue with someone she thinks is wrong and doesn't always examine her own biases. Her SandWing friend, Sunny, has a positive, upbeat attitude and always tries to stay positive. Because of this, Tsunami tended to see her as not very bright or even dim, assuming that Sunny didn't notice when things happened or that her friend just wasn't able to see when they were in bad situations. Before her trip to the Sea Kingdom, Tsunami also tended to try and put herself inc harge, bossing the other dragonets around and sometimes teasing with a bit more mean-spiritedness than may have been necessary. After their visit to the Sea Kingdom, she's done her best to dial this back and includes others in her decision making, though she still tends to try and take the lead or order others around when she thinks she knows best.
Abilities, Magic and Supernatural Skills/Afflictions:
Is a dragon-sized dragon (between 7-8 feet at the shoulder, 36-45 feet long, i.e. a 'Large' dragon with significant wingspan)
She is noted to be a skilled fighter, even for her young age.
Sharp teeth and talons
Has gills and can breathe underwater
Long, powerful tail.
Can fly (has wings)
Bio-luminescent markings on her wings and body that can be lit up to communicate or even dazzle in low-light or no-light situations
Nightvision/darkvision.

Elemental Alignment:
Dragon: A silvery-scaled dragon named Minnow, probably on the smaller side of Medium so that he can ride around on her neck/shoulders. Has two wings, four legs, leathery wings, scaled body, two small horns and a dewlap much like Tsunami's. Capable of flight and amphibious in the same way as his Scion. Incapable of being ridden by Tsunami. Omnivorous, with a preference for meat and seafood. His egg iss a brilliant aquamarine blue, etched with silver.
Personality traits inherited from Character Bond:
Belligerent - Minnow is quick to face off, even with dragons larger than him and isn't afraid of getting into a fight. Perhaps he's even a little eager. Think of him as that dog that barks at EVERYONE when they hear the doorbell ring.
Stubborn - Hard to convince this dragon to let go of anything once he's got his teeth into it.
Protective - Minnow is extremely protective of his Scion and her friends and might be on a bit of a hair trigger when it comes to being on guard.

- Water - This one is the simplest and most straightforward. Tsunami is a SeaWing, water is the element she was born to. It comforts her, buoys her up. Heck, without water a SeaWing would go crazy and die! She is at home in the waves, swimming and swirling with the current.
Wind - The wind can be soft and gentle or sharp and biting. Tsunami is a protective, nuturing (or she likes to think so) presence for her friends and the howl of a winter gale when it comes to her enemies. She is a force to be reckoned with when roused to anger or whipped to a frenzy.
Energy - Tsunami is pretty much a roiling ball of energy. She can be impatient, impulsive, and unfettered. She acts before she thinks and hates inaction. It would be hard to find a more energetic member of the Dragonets of Destiny.
